Renovating and extending your home is a great way to upgrade without changing your address, and value can be created when done correctly. The hallmarks of a successful renovation show no delineation between the new and existing elements. Effective design and attention to detail is paramount so it all blends seamlessly together.
The building process is of equal importance and can be stressful to the inexperienced. For those wishing to reside in their home while renovations are being completed, it is critical to ensure you select a builder that puts your well being first. The builders entire team of individuals onsite must be known and trusted, and be sensitive and respectful of your space to ensure a pleasant experience.
The building quote and specification must be well considered to ensure there are no surprises, and a fixed price and timeframe is a must. You don’t want the construction process to be drawn out or run over budget and this is where it pays to compare apples with apples when assessing quotes.

This canal front property is now ready to entertain with the addition of multiple outdoor living areas including a plunge pool, outdoor kitchen and fire pit. The existing garage was demolished and replaced with a new tripple car garage that’s really improved the look and functionality of this home.
A stone’s throw from the beach our clients wanted capitalise on the location and transform this property into a beachside retreat.
With some clever design we added a master bedroom, ensuite, and library that are discretely accessed through ‘secret doors’ in the second living area.
The garage and main entry was completely reconfigured giving direct access into the house, while enhancing the street appeal at the same time.
The complex alterations to the roofline were completed with precision, and the extension blends seamlessly into the existing house.

We completely stripped the existing home (and in the process removed 7 snakes from the ceiling!) and undertook a major extension and renovation. We created four metre high ceilings that flood the main living area with natural light and give the place an amazing wow factor.
The existing house was redesigned and renovated giving it a fresh new home feel. The end result of this renovation is spectacular. Check out the project video on the home page for before and after shots, along with the construction footage.
We converted this 3 Unit complex into a single dwelling with secondary accommodation.
This involved a complete redesign of the existing layout and invasive structural work and engineering to connect units 2 and 3 together.
The result is a much bigger floor plan for a growing family, and a retreat that this family can enjoy when here on their time off.
While converting a block of units in Peregian Beach the neighbours asked if we could do their house too, this is the end result! A new kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, paint, floors, front patio extension the list goes on. The best part is the resolution of some serious leaking issues. The spotted gum timber floors were refurbished and came up superb, and the front patio can now be utilised to its full potential in the hot summer months, an excellent result.
The layout of this property didn’t suit the new owners, so we extended and renovated to suit their lifestyle and requirements. It was also very dark with limited opportunities for natural light. We resolved this with new skylights, doors and windows, and a lighter shade of flooring and fresh paint. Sound proofing and insulation were also installed to the children’s games room, and now the house is much bigger and feels light and airy, and is far more functional.
Set in an old Queenslander, the design brief was to match the original style of this home. We achieved this by returning the walls back to their former glory with VJ fibre cement sheeting, and replacing the architraves and cornices. The wall unit pictured was modified to accommodate the new sink and plumbing, with the centre drawer customised to remain functional. Subway tiles to the walls add to the homely feel of this room, and a double shower complete with shower niches make it really practical for a busy family.
This house was transformed with the addition of a new pool, complete with frameless glass, and custom made merbau pool fencing.
The existing deck was replaced with a completely new structure, a new custom staircase added to the side and a solar span patio for shade. The design made great use of the sloping block and functions really well with a beautiful outlook from the deck over the pool.
